So I've only been eating meat the last 3 years and have also only learned to cook it in the same time frame. So far there was only one bad situation.
I am going to cook a roast pork. I have read some recipes but my roast has a net wrapped around it, so much of whatever the recipe calls for will just come off (I THINK??) when I take that off at the end.
Any tricks on a pork roast wrapped in a mesh netting?

A net??? Is it tied with string?? If it's string roast it with the string and cut off when you're done. I've never heard of a net....

ya! I have seen string every few inches but this is a large mesh like net. ummm large squares.
I don't know why I got a pork roast, I don't really eat pig??

Weird! I love pork, but I've never seen that, keep in mind my meat experience is nine years out of date, but I would say err on the safe side and take it off. Pork roast is delicious, you'll enjoy it.

Ya I'm going to take it off and wrap it in bacon.
Then just have mashed potatoes and gravy.

Hmm well I will know next time. I took it off anyways cause it looked like plastic and put it back together in a bacon wrap. Ian is a bacon fiend, he eats the real bacon bits like sunflower seeds EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW. So I thought holding it together with bacon couldn't be bad. HE LOVED IT!!! I thought it was only ok but I am not big on pork.

I like both real and simulated bacon bits.
